Linear motor controller

ITK linear motor controller are characterized by a very compact assembly. Via a very fast data connection to the internal and external interface modules, different measuring systems are supported (e.g. the magnetic systems MiniStar and NanoStar or optical systems). The motor can be moved also in "open loop" (when the measuring system is switched off), e.g. to simplify the set up of the motion axis. A mixed operation with stepper motor and linear motor is possible as well; in this mode, one axis controls a linear motor and the second axis a stepper motor.

The ITK-controlling technology has been developed for controlling cross stages and microscope stages sensitively and smoothly with a joystick or a handwheel without producing much heat in the motors.
