ITK Precisioning in Lahnau, a specialist in high-precision positioning systems, is starting a new chapter. In order to ensure a smooth generational change, the management of the company will be handed over from Dr Ingolf Schäfer to the current sales manager, Sebastian Rivera, on 1 January 2026. Similarly, commercial management will be transferred from Ms Claudia Dern to Ms Kirsten Stockert, setting the course for a successful future. The change was prepared and organised jointly by the previous incumbents and their successors in order to ensure a high degree of continuity.
Since 2018, following the acquisition of the company by Dr Slatter Holding GmbH, Dr Schäfer has played a key role in shaping the further development of ITK as managing director. With his wealth of experience, expertise and vision, he has ensured steady growth and continuously expanded the company and its product portfolio. With 70 employees and more than 40 years of expertise, ITK is one of the precision specialists in the field of mechatronic positioning systems.
Over an even longer period of time, namely from the early days as an engineering office more than four decades ago, Claudia Dern has played a central role in shaping the culture and code of values at ITK. Significant achievements that have distinguished ITK for many decades bear her signature. This finds its logical conclusion in the active shaping and accompaniment of the upcoming changes.
The ITK team began searching for a suitable successor early on and is delighted to welcome Sebastian Rivera as the new managing director from January 2026. As a graduate mechanical engineer and thanks to his previous position as head of marketing and sales at ITK, Sebastian Rivera brings with him extensive product, industry and market knowledge to continue ITK’s success story. With this ambition and his enthusiasm for the tasks ahead, Sebastian Rivera is looking forward to starting in his new role. Thanks to his many years with the company, he is very familiar with the challenges and opportunities that await him in his new position.
We would like to thank Dr Schäfer and Claudia Dern for their dedicated work and warmly welcome Sebastian Rivera as the new Managing Director. Together, we will shape the successful future of ITK.
