Lahnau, September 2026 – Athletic efforts for a good cause: On Friday, September 25, 2026, the students at Lahnaue Elementary School laced up their running shoes. During the traditional charity run, children from all grade levels diligently racked up kilometers to raise money for the redesign of their schoolyard and new play facilities.

They were supported by prominent figures and the local business community. District Administrator Carsten Braun, for example, didn’t miss the opportunity to participate as a runner himself and cheer on the children along the route.

As company based in Lahnau, ITK Precisioning also got involved in the school project. Managing Director Sebastian Rivera personally handed over a donation of 250 euros along the race route. “As a company with deep local roots, supporting regional education and promoting physical activity are particularly important to us,” emphasized Sebastian Rivera after the run. “It was great to see how much enthusiasm and perseverance the children showed. Their energy is contagious—next time, I’ll run a lap myself. We’re very happy to be able to contribute to a more beautiful schoolyard.”

The funds raised through the run and the support from ITK Precisioning will now go directly toward modernizing the elementary school’s outdoor grounds.
